2010 Top Ten (or 17)

1.   (names have been changed to protect the innocent)
    Monk...locked out of all rooms at 4:30 am wearing nothing but
    boxers...no key...no wallet (thought he went into the bathroom
    and realized he was out in the hall) Sat in the stairwell for
    a LONG time trying to figure out what to do
    Finally, decides to go to the front desk and ask for Liz's room,
    where he was sleeping because Vita was on the cot in the suite
    Monk - To person at hotel front desk:
        "Do you have the room number for Elizabeth McSomeone?"
    Front desk clerk: "Let me check...
        ...There is no Elizabeth McSomeone stying in this hotel"
    Monk: " Are you sure?"
    Clerk: "Yep" (whole time doesn't seem to notice, or care, that
           Monk is standing there in his underwear and a tee shirt)
    Monk decides to continue to walk through lobby to the suite,
       and ends up waking up Mulch to let him in. Takes pillow from
       couch, and towel from bathroom, and sleeps in corner of room
    Liz knocks on the suite door in the morning holding Monk’s
       pants and shoes
